Activities on FridayTeams arriving before 5 PM – Options:
Run/Walk on the Beach: Best access is at 12th Street & Prom. From Hwy 101, turn left on 12th Street (outlet mall will be on your right) and follow to the parking lot on the left. Bathrooms available, but no showers (at the beach or high school).
After the Meet
Head into Seaside for fun on the beach—ice cream, bumper cars, mini golf, aquarium, walking the Prom.
In nearby Astoria, explore the River Walk, restaurants, Gooney House, the Maritime Museum, and more.

- Visit the Outlet Mall: Located at 12th & Hwy 101, north end of Seaside.
- Explore Downtown Seaside: Buses can park just north of the Chamber building at Broadway & Hwy 101.
- Ice Cream Social (Free)
- T-Shirt Exchange: Bring a shirt, get a shirt—trade as much as you like.
- Coach-led Activities: Coaches may create activities for their teams. Please, no roaming around the base—we are guests and must respect base property and others on site.

Meals
Dinner (Friday Pasta Feed)
- When: 5:00–7:00 PM
- Where: Seaside High School cafeteria (2600 Spruce Dr.)
- Menu: Pasta (gluten-free & vegetarian available), salad, dessert, milk, water.
- Cost: Included for teams staying at Camp Rilea; $5 for others. Coaches, chaperones & bus drivers eat free.
- When: 6:00–7:30 AM
- Where: Dining Hall, Building 7025
- Menu: Pancakes (gluten-free available), fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, water.
- Cost: $8 per person (fundraiser for Seaside Track & Field). Pay ahead by invoice or at the door (cash/check).
Camp Rilea
- Location: 33168 Patriot Way, Warrenton, OR (8 miles north of Seaside; 6 miles south of Astoria on Hwy 101).
- Entering: 100% ID check for drivers. Have your license out before turning off the highway.
- Parking: $5 per vehicle; volunteers will direct drivers.
- Exiting: Leaving before 10:30 AM? You’ll exit via the rarely opened North Gate over a 3–4 mile gravel road. Enjoy the adventure!
- No tent camping. RV spaces available for Active Duty Military/Retirees (reservations required).
Concessions & Coffee
Located between the start and finish areas. Run by Seaside Kids Inc.
- Breakfast items, snacks, drinks available.
- Pizza after 10:30 AM.

Lodging at Camp Rilea
- Options: Bunk beds in Starship Bays (20 beds), duplexes, huts, or classroom floor space.
- Cost: $15 per bed; $10 per floor space. Coaches/chaperones stay free.
- Assignments: Meet management assigns spaces two weeks prior.
- Rules:
- No boys in girls’ dorms and no girls in boys’ dorms.
- No food or drink in sleeping areas.
- Coaches/chaperones must sleep in same area as team.
- No tampering with base equipment or wandering the base.
Fees & Payment
Five ways to pay fees:
- Mail entry fees prior to arrival.
- Pay Friday during packet pick-up (cash, credit card, or check).
- Get an invoice Friday at packet pick-up, then mail payment after the race.

- 12:00 PM — MS Boys (yellow)
- 12:15 PM — MS Girls (yellow)
Other Key Notes
- Etiquette: Be kind. Respect runners and volunteers.
- Clear Lake (Mud Pit): All athletes must run through without stopping; spectators must stay out.
- Parking: $5 per car. Spectator passes available on Athletic.net. Place pass on dash for faster entry. Drivers must still show valid ID at gate.
- Pets: Allowed if leashed and cleaned up after.
- Results: Live results posted online & QR code available. Individual printouts at Eclectic tent.
- Lost & Found: Located near T-Shirt Sales/Open Race Registration.
- Showers: “Viking Showers” near finish (hoses only, cold water). Overnight teams may use lodging showers.
- Team Canopies: Set up only in designated areas. Pack out all trash.
- SWAG: Shirts ($30/$10 clearance), long sleeves ($35), hoodies ($40), BOCO hats ($40), stickers ($5). Available Friday dinner & Saturday finish area (cash/credit).
- Uniforms: Athletes must wear running uniforms or practice gear—no costumes.
- Viewing: Best spots are Clear Lake, berm east of start, or road east of start leading to finish.
