fantastic volunteers who make it an event that teams, coaches and fans return to
year after year.

Runner chooses course
Open Race registration will be located between the start and finish line. Close to the T-shirt sales. Look for the canopy with balloons!
Parking: There is a $5 per car parking fee. We pay for ODOT and RAM Security
personnel that allows for smooth and efficient vehicle entry and exit to the base.
We have limited handicapped parking available. Please be patient and kind with parking volunteers.
I.D. Check: ALL drivers must show their license before entering the base. Have
your driver’s license out before you pull off the highway.
.
Heart Pumping Drumming
Listen for the Last Regiment Drum Corp as they get the runners pumped up
before the start of each race and then bring them in to the finish line. Embrace
your inner kid and dance to the rhythm of the drummers.
Courses: A limited supply of course maps will be available at the concession
stand. On all courses the most popular viewing area is “Clear Lake” (mud hole).
Follow the herd or ask runners. Note: It is almost impossible to watch runners
negotiate the water and get back to watch them cross the finish line. PLEASE
stay out of “Clear Lake”.
T-Shirt Sales, Open Race Registration and Lost and Found
We will have an area located in between the finish and start lines where we will have all our food carts, registration, t-shirt sales and information tables.
Concessions will be at the meet with prepackaged food and drinks
A “Thank You” goes a long long way.
Please take time to thank the many volunteers who make this meet possible.
You will find them helping park cars, at the finish area, medical tent, starting the
races, handing out Gatorade and processing results.
The good people of Camp Rilea, both military and civilian, go well beyond the
call of duty to make it possible for us to use their facility and create an absolute
unique opportunity for all the runners. They are short staffed and over worked
yet never fail to rally to the Three Course Challenge.
Also Seaside High Cross Country runners and other students put in many
extra hours to make this event special. When you see these fine young women and
men give them a sign of appreciation for their efforts.
History
On our website, under the “more” tab there is a page with information on the
number of competitors on each course each year. There is also a list of all the
schools who have attended the meet.
Concerns and comments.
Please, if you have a concern, find Race Director Neil Branson (good luck as he is in constant motion) Kerri Boutin
You can always call co-director Kerri Boutin at 760-401-9559 (much likelier to answer her cell at the meet).
email Neil at [email protected] or Kerri at [email protected]
