Run the meet your older sisters and brothers talk about. Seaside High Cross Country welcomes you to the 10TH Annual Three Course Challenge Middle School – Youth Club Cross Country Meet.
Date and Time: Saturday, September 23rd, 2023
9:30 MS boys
9:40 MS Girls
Place: Camp Rilea. The camp is located 8 miles north of Seaside on Highway 101.
Distance/Course: 3000 meters run on grass, dirt, sand roads, and trails. No pavement.
Results: We will time each athlete with results posted within 5 minutes of the race ending.
Awards: Individuals: Top 10 girls and boy finishers in each grade level (6th, 7th, and 8th) will receive a Three Course Challenge Medal. Awards will be presented after the race. Runner will go to the timing tent to receive a printout showing results, including placement in grade.
Awards: Teams Plaques & Five Medals: 1st Place club team plus 1st and 2nd Place middle school teams.
Team Entry: Teams/Clubs entering the meet must complete an online entry form found on this website, put the meet on their schedule on athletic.net, and have their entries in athletic.net no later than 7:00 PM, Monday, September 19th, 2023
Enter runners through athletic.net by 7:00 PM, Monday, September 19th, and pay the entry fee. Go to www.athletic.net to your account and put the Three Courses on your schedule. Make sure each runner’s grade is correct as we award medals to the top ten girls and boys in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.
Individual Entry: If your Middle School or club team is not participating in the meet this can be challenging but you can still enter if your school/club has an athletic.net account. Ask your coach to enter your team in the meet and then you can be entered.
Fee: $5.00 per runner-up to a maximum fee of $100 for a school or club.
Parking: One coach will be allowed free parking and they will receive a pass. All other coaches and parents transporting their child/children will need to pay the $5 parking fee. Volunteers will be on hand to help direct spectators, and buses on where to park.

2023 Three Course Challenge Open Race
If you ran the Three Course in high school you know you want to attack one of the courses again. Did you watch your children run wishing you could be part of the fun? Have you heard of the meet and thought “what a hoot, wish they had races like that when I was in high school”? Now you can. So lace ‘em up and come join the adventure.

Entry : Day of Race Registration – will be completed at a booth near the concession stand.
Entry Fee: $20.
Distance: 5000 meters – you will choose between the “moderate” and “difficult” courses.
Courses: The races will be run on grass, dirt, sand roads and trails and should feature a “mud pit” adventure. No pavement.
Results: Runners will go to the timing tent to receive their results after crossing the finish line.
Awards: Top 10 male and female finishers will receive a medal regardless of course run. If you are in it for the medal better choose the moderate course. Medals will be presented in the finish chute.
